However to get the most out of it I think it's worth just getting used to checking it every day in the morning - it really only takes 30 seconds, do it while having your morning coffee, or some other part of your morning routine - until it's so second nature that it feels as natural as brushing your teeth in the morning. Google calendar (or iCloud calendar, or Outlook calendar) will show up on your PC, on your phone, it can send you phone notifications, send you browser notifications, it can show up on your smartwatch, it can send you emails, it can contact you just about every way it's possible to be contacted - there really are no other applications out there which are better at helping you not miss appointments or deadlines than a good calendar. Have you ever had a calendar that you check every day? If you haven't then I would probably reccomend starting there. I spent about 2 years constantly changing up my system trying to find a 1-tool-for-everything before settling on this method, but now I've been using this method for ~3 years and I still love it. It means that now my "productivity homepage" is really the new-tab page on google chrome, where I can quickly link to whichever specific tool I need. One thing that made it much easier for me to use multiple tools was installing a "new tab page" on my chrome browser that contains permanent links to my 'home page' for each of the different tools I use. Notion is the closest to a "Do-it-all" tool, but there are still some things it just does not do as well as google calendar, Todoist etc. I used to be in the same boat but eventually found that it was necessary for me to use a few different tools and play to each of their strengths.
